Does your child want to start babysitting but lacks the confidence or know-how? Safe Sitter® is designed to prepare students in grades 6 through 8 (older teens are welcome too!) to be safe when they’re home alone, watching younger siblings, or babysitting. This instructor-led class includes fun games and role-playing, and teaches safe child care practices, first aid, and life and business skills. The course fee covers instruction, certification, and take-home materials. Lunch will be provided, courtesy of the Peoria Heights Public Library.

Class fee is $45, cash or check (payable to: Brandy Myers) accepted at the library or via PayPal/Venmo online, due by July 8.
